Minimum room area — SBC 201

The Saudi Building Code (SBC 201) sets a minimum floor area for habitable rooms. A room below the required area is non-compliant and must be adjusted before approval.

Emtithal measures each room's area from the drawing and compares it to the required minimum. When there is a shortfall, a 'fail' finding appears with the measured value vs the required value and a proposed correction.

Exact values depend on the occupancy class and room type; consult the official code text and rely on a licensed engineer for the final decision.
