Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Emtithal platform. By accessing or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and agreed to be bound by them. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the platform.

Emtithal is a platform for analyzing engineering drawings and projects and detecting early any non-compliance with the requirements of the Saudi Building Code (SBC), to save review time before submitting the project. Its check results come from defined checking rules, not from an AI model's judgement.

The information you provide at registration must be accurate and up to date. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs through your account.

You agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only, and you commit to the following:

• Not uploading any content that violates regulations or infringes the intellectual-property rights of others.
• Not attempting to breach the platform, affect its performance, or gain unauthorized access to it.
• Not misusing analysis results in a way that violates regulations and professional practice.

Check results carry one of four statuses: “No violation found”, “Not met”, “Needs an engineer's check” or “Could not be judged”. “No violation found” does not mean the requirement is met, only that the check found no violation of it. Neither “Needs an engineer's check” nor “Could not be judged” ever counts as compliant. “Needs an engineer's check” means the engineer must verify the item; “Could not be judged” means the platform could not judge the item, because the drawing or the project data lacks what is needed, or because the platform did not read what it needed from the drawing or has no automatic check for it. The platform may also judge that a requirement does not apply to the project or to some of its elements; the report states how many. Each report states the codes it applied, the number of rules it evaluated where that is known, and the limits of the check it knows of, such as codes not checked and what the drawing lacks. A requirement the report does not mention has not necessarily been checked.

The analysis results the platform provides are advisory and intended to assist the engineer; they are not a substitute for review and certification by a competent, licensed engineer. Final responsibility for the project's compliance rests with the platform user.

The platform also offers an assistant that uses an AI model to explain check results, prioritize them, suggest corrections and estimate their impact on request. It does not create or change any check result; what it writes is advisory and may be inaccurate.

All intellectual-property rights in the platform, its designs and its software remain owned by Emtithal. You retain ownership of the drawings and files you upload, while granting us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

By uploading any data to the platform, you grant Emtithal the right to use that data to enhance and develop its products.

You confirm that you have the right to upload this content and to grant us this license, and that doing so does not infringe any third party's rights.

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing details and billing cycles are shown at subscription and are subject to change with prior notice to you.

Our refund policy, published on the Refund policy page, sets out when we return money or credit and how to ask for it.

The platform is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on its results.

We have the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent judicial authorities in the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
