Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your data and drawings when you use the Emtithal platform.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Introduction

At Emtithal we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users — engineers and engineering offices. This policy explains the types of information we collect when you use the platform, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you to control it.

2. Information we collect

We collect different types of information to provide and improve the compliance-analysis service:

  • Account information: name, email, employer, and engineering license number where available.
  • Project data: the drawings and engineering files you upload for analysis and matching against the Saudi Building Code.
  • Usage data: sign-in logs, device and browser type, and the pages you browse within the platform.

3. How we use your information

  • Operating the platform, analyzing your drawings and catching non-compliance early.
  • Improving the accuracy of our AI models and the quality of matching results.
  • Contacting you about your account, updates and technical support.
  • Complying with regulatory requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell your data or drawings to any third party. We may share limited information only in the following cases:

  • With trusted technical service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
  • Where there is a legal obligation or an official request from a competent authority.

5. Data protection and security

We apply technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, and restricting access permissions to authorized staff only.

6. Data retention

We retain your information and drawings for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet regulatory obligations, and you may request deletion of your projects at any time.

7. Your rights

  • Access your personal data and request a copy of it.
  • Correct or update inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your preferences, improve your experience and analyze platform performance; you can control them from your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or regulatory requirements, and we will notify you of any material changes through the platform or by email.

10. Use of data to develop and train models

We use the content and information you enter into the platform — including engineering drawings and files, usage data and analysis results — to develop our services and to train our AI models and improve their accuracy in detecting violations and matching them against the Saudi Building Code. This may include retaining and processing this data for ongoing research and model development.

We take measures to protect the confidentiality of your data when used for this purpose, and we aim to use anonymized copies wherever possible. If you do not want your projects used for training, you can contact us at info@aisc.sa.
